Built from real life

I grew up in the woods of Alaska.

Being outside, working with your hands, pushing yourself, and figuring things out were just part of life.

The road here

The path wasn’t a straight line.

Built back. Still building.

I’m Eli Njaa. At 18, I left Alaska and moved to Southern California to build something of my own.

I spent years as the singer of a Hardcore / Metal band. Got into metal fabrication and built choppers. I built a career in construction and eventually became a business owner. I’ve worked long days, dealt with stress, raised a family, and learned what it’s like trying to stay strong and healthy when fitness can’t be the only thing in your life.

I’ve also learned what happens when your body forces you to change course.

After years of wear and tear, I eventually underwent lumbar spinal fusion surgery. Coming back from that changed the way I thought about training. Being strong wasn’t just about how much weight I could move anymore. It was about building a body that could perform, recover, and keep doing the things I wanted it to do for decades.

Today I’m a husband, a dad, a business owner, and someone who still loves walking into the gym and pushing hard.

But I’ve learned that getting results doesn’t require making fitness your entire life.

It requires a plan.

Train with purpose. Eat for your goal. Walk. Sleep. Recover. Stay consistent.

Keep it simple. Keep stacking wins.

That’s where Mountain Athletics Club came from.

Why Mountain Athletics Club

Built for people with real lives.

People with careers. Kids. Responsibilities. Injuries. Stress. Good weeks and bad ones.

People who still expect more from themselves.

You don’t need the perfect diet, two-hour workouts, or six days a week in the gym. You need to understand what matters, eliminate the noise, and consistently execute the basics.

Mountain Athletics Club exists to give busy adults that online coaching system, wherever they live.

Training. Nutrition. Progress tracking. Accountability.

A clear path forward.

The mountain will look different for everyone. For one person it might be losing 50 pounds. For another it’s rebuilding strength, adding muscle, getting back into athletic shape, or simply becoming the kind of person who doesn’t skip the work anymore.

Whatever your summit is, you still have to climb.

Strength that carries over

Training supports the life.

The goal is not to live in the gym. It is to build a body that can keep showing up—for work, family, adventure, and whatever comes next.
